Pizza Pitt – Best Island Pizza & BBQ Wings in Vinalhaven, ME

This place is amazing from the staff to the food. Im from mainland this place was highly recommended by the locals. I ordered the BBQ wings and all i can say is OMG the meat falls off the bone. The pizza there is super tasty and they make you feel right at home.

Quality and food portions here are amazing. This was our first time here and the food was exceptional. The wings are juicy and literally fall from the bone, the pizza is top notch. We eat a lot of pizza and I was like ughhh not another pizza place. I'm glad we stopped though because portion sizes are huge and prices were reasonable. It was very busy the day we went. The phone did not stop ringing! They had call after call, non stop so clearly they are popular. Not much of the staff had much of a personality and I don't mean that badly, seeing how busy they were I suppose I'd be the same way. However the owner was awesome. She made an effort to make sure our food was good and even made small talk. Very nice lady! Prices were on the higher side but with how good the quality and portions you can't complain and being on an island you have to expect prices will always be higher than mainland. If you complain about price go back to mainland. It's a order at the counter and sit down where you want kind of place. They have plenty of tables to sit at. They have a tv and on that particular day they were playing music on it, they had even the lyrics come across the tv screen, not sure if that's an app or what but it was really cool to see. There menu is rather small, not a lot of choices but just enough to find something good to eat, and you won't be disappointed! There's a drop off to get into the parking lot so becareful driving in but plenty of parking spots. This is definitely a family restaurant especially for kids, they will love it here. They accept debit/credit and cash here. I honestly don't remember if it's wheelchair accessible. But, you can move tables around to fit a wheelchair so I imagine it's accessible but I would call them to verify. They are open all year, they don't close for the season, big bonus points for that. The place was clean as well as the bathroom but the bathroom is a little sketchy, it's out back where the place looks unfinished but that's just me being nit picky. I would absolutely recommend this place and while I only gave it four stars, that's because of the minor nit picks I had. The owner has great customer service and the food is amazing, definitely try it out. Overall, 4 stars!

Beautiful views and amazing pizza! The crust was perfect and veggies were so fresh! Yummy!

You will struggle to find better pizza anywhere on the east coast. Pizza Pit has always been an absolute treasure and we are so lucky to have them on the island!

I dare say it’s the best Pizza in Maine. Price is more than fair for what youre getting in foods and service. Will always be my favorite pizza place.

The pizza was amazing! I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious meal.
